Dev and Thom inform Nick about this development and Norah finds out from Caroline. All of them go in search of Caroline whom they find outside a Gay bar. Caroline also figures out that Thom and Dev are gay and couldnt have caused her trouble. In the mean time Nick and Norah realize what they want in life. The characters of the movie are played by Michael Cera and Kat Dennings for Nick and Norah, Ari Graynor stuns around as Caroline, while Rafi Gavron and Aaron Yoo perform with utmost ease as Dev and Thom. Five Feet High and Rising and Raising Victor Vargass director Peter Sollett directs this movie.

Today we will take a bit of a detour in our topic. I want to talk about high school students who want to enter pre-med classes. Included in this exploration, I would like to discuss what it takes to be successful in college. These two topics are of great importance to high school students. The sooner you begin your preparation for college, the better your chances of a successful college career.

If you are a high school student who wants to become a doctor, what kinds of things should you be considering?

1. Don't be too concerned about the strengths of the different undergrad pre-med programs. That is not important in the consideration of med school admission.

2. More important is the general quality of the school. For example, Stanford is always considered better than UCLA when you are considering applying to med school.

#3 Most 4 year universities have pre-med accreditation. That is why it is important to include other aspects of what the school has to offer when you are making your decision. You will want to look at the school location - suburban or urban. Look into how strong the campus culture is and how large the student body. Be sure that the student/teacher ratio is favorable.

#4 When you have made your choice and you are in college, be sure to pay close attention to your grade point average. Also, be sure to start your research early. Publish papers, get on well with your professors, and make sure to strive for excellence academically. #5 Cultivate a college career that produces a well-rounded student. Don't just focus all your attention on getting into med school or you will end up with a very flat, dull application. Whats Been Happening in True Blood Season 2 Episode 3

Now we are onto the third episode of Season 2 True Blood, the production by Alan Ball for HBO television. Doesnt time fly by! Sookie, strangely enough, is the one to get attacked. This time not by vampires but by a stranger creature with what looks to be a human body with a bulls head. She is infected by some form of poison but is cured by a knowledgeable doctor.

After Sookie is healed she finds out by reading Gingers mind, that Lafayette is being kept against his will in Eric the vampires basement. Sookie then sets off to find Lafayette.

So Sookie finds Eric and confronts him about this in a thoroughly aggressive manner, which just helps to turn Eric on. However, Eric manages to negotiate with her in that if he sets Lafayette free and gives her $10,000 too she will help to find his friend Godric. Hmmm, seems to me to be a very good deal for Sookie!

Is Jason Stackhouse coming to his senses now after his time at the camp from hell? The wacko Sarah however, who is desperate to bed him, convinces stupid Jason that vampires are evil. Not that he needed too much convincing. Sarah invites Jason for dinner at her families place to hopefully brainwash him that bit more, which will not be difficult to do.

Jessica and Hoyte apparently are enjoying each others company even though Hoyte learns that she is a vampire. Hoyte gets all nervous in her company like a little innocent boy. Jessica decides to take Hoyte back to Bills place to play some wii. However, when Bill returns to find them together, he goes bezerk.

Tara asks MaryAnn why Sam Merlotte hates her so much. As if the devious MaryAnn is going to tell her the truth. We can only hope that Tara takes Sookies offer up and moves out of MaryAnns place to go live with Sookie.

While this is all going on, Sam is meanwhile treating Daphne like trash and heads out for a run. He then goes swimming in the local lake. Daphne follows him and while she is in the process of taking her clothes off we spot some deep scratches on her back. Hmm, what do we think caused those scratches? It maybe that Daphne is the thing that attacked Sookie earlier who knows right now?

If you have enjoyed reading Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse series you will find True Blood to be somewhat different to the true story line that we know. Disappointed or enjoying?

On the other hand, having seen the previews for the next episode, perhaps Im being a bit harsh here. Lets hope then that the previews live up to their promise and we are indeed treated to some real pleasures still to come!
